The “am Gehrenbach” multi-family building in Oberwil-Lieli comprises 15 modern owner-occupied apartments with their own underground car park, providing space for 27 cars. Electricity is generated by a photovoltaic system installed on the roof. Excess solar energy produced during the day is stored in a battery in the basement and can be used when needed – even when the sun is not shining. The apartments are heated and supplied with hot water using geothermal probes and heat pumps. In addition, each apartment is equipped with a controlled residential ventilation system.
