Above the village centre of Affoltern am Albis, we realised the Aurora development as investor, property developer and general contractor. The five buildings comprise 19 attractive terraced owner-occupied apartments, including an underground car park. The consistent and well-thought-out architecture of the five terraced houses blends harmoniously into the landscape thanks to the optimal positioning of the buildings on the slope. Each residential unit has its own level with generous glazing, offering unobstructed views extending as far as the Alps. Large terraces extend the living space and provide plenty of privacy with excellent sunlight exposure. Heat is generated in a particularly environmentally friendly and energy-efficient manner using a heat pump with a geothermal probe. The houses were built to the Minergie standard.
