A comprehensive refurbishment of the building was planned to meet today’s requirements and standards of comfort. A more pleasant indoor climate was achieved through the installation of new windows and the refurbishment of the façade, providing improved noise and thermal insulation. The new building services, including electrical, heating and ventilation systems, also resulted in increased energy efficiency. The interior of the building was upgraded with the installation of a lift, the refurbishment of the staircase and new sanitary facilities in the apartments. With the renewed façade, the building now presents itself in a fresh, modern appearance.
