Densification is also a key topic in Effretikon. The apartment buildings dating from the 1950s have reached the end of their useful life and are making way for a new development. The attractive façade design is a distinctive feature of the project.

On behalf of the Zürich Anlagestiftung, we have driven forward the development of 154 rental apartments and nine studios in the immediate vicinity of Effretikon railway station. The sustainability requirements for this project were particularly high, as we committed to the standards of the SIA Energy Efficiency Path and SNBS Gold certification. At the same time, this enabled us to promote decarbonisation in another major residential development and contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions.
