A comprehensive refurbishment of the building was planned to meet today’s needs and standards of comfort. New windows and an upgraded façade improved the indoor living environment in terms of both noise protection and thermal insulation. The installation of new building services, including electrical, heating and ventilation systems, also resulted in significant energy savings. The interior was further upgraded with the installation of a lift, the refurbishment of the staircase and new sanitary facilities in the apartments. With the renewal of the façade, the building now presents a fresh and modern appearance.
